Adams Outdoor Advertising Introduces Class of 2017 Adams Collaborate Partners

MADISON, Wis., February 7, 2017 – This past year Adams Outdoor Advertising launched its first year of a non-profit advertising initiative. Thoughtfully named Adams Collaborate, the program’s aim is to work collaboratively with local non-profit organizations to create a year-long, outdoor branding campaign and raise awareness for local causes.

In its first year, Adams Collaborate program partnered with seven Madison area non-profit organizations: Madison Museum of Contemporary Art, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Madison, Salvation Army of Dane County, Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern Wisconsin, Gilda's Club Madison, Olbrich Botanical Gardens and Lily's Fund for Epilepsy Research. In 2016 Adams Collaborate delivered over 130 million impressions across Madison and Dane County and donated a total value of over $1.5 million.

Lannia Stenz, Executive Director of Gilda’s Club Madison, saw great success with the Adams Collaborate program, “Following the first month of having the billboards posted, our new member numbers nearly tripled.” The program also has strong roots in the Madison community and Erika Monroe-Kane, Director of Communications at Madison Museum of Contemporary Art, noted, “We heard from many different people that they found the billboards inspiring, that the campaign brought them joy, that they felt gratified their community values art and that they loved the look of the billboards.”

Now in its second year the Adams Collaborate program received over thirty applications. After a careful selection process the new Class of 2017 consists of 8 local non-profits: Badger Honor Flight!, Domestic Abuse Intervention Services, Foundation for Madison's Public Schools, Middleton Outreach Ministry, Operation Fresh Start, Reach Dane, Underdog Pet Rescue of Wisconsin, Inc., and VSA Wisconsin. The new campaigns are set to start throughout the year and will run for a full year after posting.
