!WEATHER UPDATE! Award Season slams The Lehigh Market.
After Winter's last ditch effort to put a damper on The LehighValley, the market enjoyed a deluge of recognition this week.
Celebrating its 73rd year, the OBIE Awards are the oldest and one of the most prestigious shows in advertising, awarding creative excellence in the out of home (OOH) medium. The OAAA recently announced the finalists for this year's OBIEs. Thousands of campaigns were submitted, but only 90 were chosen as contenders for top honors. Six of those campaigns came from Adams Outdoor Advertising. We're proud to say that one of those came from The Lehigh Valley Market. Our campaign for The Celtic Classic marked Lehigh's first OBIE nomination in 15 years. We'll be anxiously representing Adams in San Diego on May 12th where the winners will be announced.
In additon, last Friday, The American Advertising Federation of The Greater Lehigh Valley held its annual ADDY awards. Our team was on hand to be recognized with 3 Silver Awards, one Gold and a Judge's Choice award. The Silver wins honored work we did for Newhard's Corn Shed, Freshpet and Via Thrift Stores. A Gold and a coveted Judge's Choice Award were granted for our 4-tier Celtic Classic campaign. That campaign will now go on to compete at the District II level, and hopefully, the National stage.
